A Fun DIY Project to Build Your Own Custom Built Retro Games Machine for Next to Nothing Using the Raspberry Pi

Discover How, at an Extremely Low Cost, You Can Create Your Own Retro Games Machine and Play All Your Favourite Games From Years Gone By, Whatever the Game, Whatever the Platform...

Game emulators have been around for years, but they can be confusing to set up, and often the games you want to play, simply just don’t work!

Dedicated hardware exists to emulate certain game systems. But they emulate just ONE system, usually miss out vital things you need to play your games, and cost FAR more than the Raspberry Pi based system you’ll create yourself by the end of this course.

Where is the fun in buying something that is limited in what it can do, when you can build your own, far more powerful solution at a fraction of the price? And one that does exactly what YOU want.

With the knowledge you'll gain in this course you could easily be building your very own Sega Mega Drive / Genesis Mini, Super Nintendo clone, arcade machine, or a handheld, such as a GameBoy lookalike.

Many people have tried building something like this and end up with over 90% of the games not working – because they don’t have the information that is covered in this course.

Take a Look at Just Some of the Systems This Course Shows You How to Emulate…

But is This Right For You?

I'll be honest - this course isn't going to be for everyone. And maybe YOU are one of those people who just shouldn't  take this course.

So how do you know?

Well, if you are the sort of person who enjoys spending days, weeks, or even months, trying to piece together various snippets of information from YouTube, blogs, websites, Reddit, and numerous other sources, only to find out that a lot of it is out of date, irrelevant (or just plain wrong) then this course probably isn't for you.

I've already done all the hard work for you. I've done the searching. I've sorted out what works and what doesn't. Not only that,  I've put it all to the test, making sure that what you get saves you the grief and hassle of trying things that a lot of these 'information' sources suggest - only to find that they don't work.

I value my time, and if you value yours, then you are going to appreciate the sheer amount of information that I've crammed into this course. Yes, it's a few hours long, but it is jam packed with information that you NEED to know to get the very best out of RetroPie and your Raspberry Pie.

I promise you, this is a no fluff, no filler, no waffle course. Just around 3 hours of essential information that'll save you a TON of wasted time and effort.

Does the course cover the Raspberry Pi 4?

Yes and No! At this point in time the people behind RetroPie do not have a version of RetroPie that you can download and use on the Raspberry Pi 4. However, all of the steps, and all of the information in this course will work on the Pi 4 version of RetroPie, as soon as it becomes available. My own Pi 4 is sitting, ready and waiting, for the Pi 4 version of RetroPie to be released!  I'll be updating the course and demonstrating it in use as soon as the RetroPie people release a compatible version.

Do I need to know about the Raspberry Pi before I do this course?

No. I take you through everything you need to know, covering what it is and where to get it.

I’m experienced with the Raspberry Pi, what else can I do with this?

A lot! For example, instead of a simple case, why not build a custom arcade cabinet, or house the Raspberry Pi inside a controller, or program genuine arcade sticks to work with it? If you are experienced with hardware projects and coding on the Pi then there are no end of ways you can extend this project.

Will I need to do any soldering or know any electronics to do this?

No. The hardware side of this simply involves clipping things together and plugging in cables. Of course, if you really want to, you are perfectly free to build a case as complex as you want to - even a full blown arcade cabinet. But, at it's simplest, a basic clip together case will do the job.

What if I run into problems?

It’s unlikely that you will because I’ve made everything as straightforward as possible, but in the unlikely event that you do then I’ll be there in the Q&A area, ready to give you help, should you need it.

How Long Will I Have Access to the Course?

You will have 1 year (12 months from date of purchase)  of access to the course.  A new version of the course  will be released if a new version of RetroPie or the Raspberry Pi  deem it necessary. As a current course owner you will be given the option to upgrade to the new version at a vastly reduced  price. NOTE - If a new version of the course is released within 3 months of your purchase then your upgrade to the new course will be FREE.
